Developers Note:

Warning: Change Text to path in editor!

This solution will make sure that most text can be converted to path.

If the words do not appear correctly from your initially converted SVG then resubmit it after changing all words/text to path in your SVG editor.
The below illustrates a map but could of course just as easily apply to a floor plan or anything so proceed to the
next step.

Developers Note:
Keep selecting "Ungroup" from the same place on the Inkscape menu until the number of objects stops increasing.
In the above example "339" was the maximum number of objects that could be reached.
You have to double check that:
(1)Your initial selection "captured" absolutely everything in the SVG.
(2)You get the message "No groups to ungroup in the selection. ".

How to get text

Developers Note:
Go to the Object menu and select "Object to path" and save the file.
This will have replaced all text with paths, which the converter can "see".
(EG:Save as the "Ungrouped" or "Ready for converter" version of the origial SVG.)
